Welcome to the future site of the Internet Security Foundation, the first independent, international, not-for-profit organization promoting the security of the Internet.
ISFI will be the home of the Internet Security Forum, the web's most authoritative offering of collective expert opinion on Internet security issues. A proof-of-concept issue on the subject of credit card security was prepared on the 9th of September, 1999. Check it out!
Our Mission
ISFI is a not-for-profit organization created to serve the public interest. The purpose of the Foundation is to promote the security of the Internet itself, as well as the systems, networks, and other devices connected to it.
Our ultimate aim is an Internet safe enough, and trustworthy enough, that it can sustain activities critical to the life and well-being of those who use it around the world. Such activities will include not only electronic commerce and communication but also medical treatment, education, security systems for homes and businesses, manufacturing and process control, and other unforseen applications in the future.
Activities
ISFI's debut activity is the "Internet Security Forum". The Forum presents an opportunity for the public to watch an exchange of opinions among experts concerning the impact and relevance of technical measures, security threats, and other events affecting the security of the Internet.
